Diana was Commissioned by the Vermont State Libraries for the 2008, 2009, & 2010 DCF Award Illustrations. 

These illustrated awards were
presented to the winning authors of the Vermont children's favorite DCF book each year.

The DCF program was 
established to promote
middle-school reading and
it is an honor to contribute
as the award artist. 

The inspiration for illustrations comes from a local children's poet and the artist's daughter's poetry.   Diana creates detailed drawings and watercolors first.  Then, Diana overlays calligraphic font onto high quality reproductions.
