of the Vermont children's
favorite DCF book May 27.

This year, it went to the book
"Rules", written by Cynthia Lord.
The DCF program was
established to promote
middle-school reading and
it is an honor to contribute
as the award artist.

The inspiration for illustrations comes from a local
children's poet and the artist's daughter's poetry. Diana creates detailed drawings
and watercolors first. Then, Diana overlays calligraphic font onto high quality reproductions.
